Have quirks been listed for these mechs, or are you speculating on what they will be?

IDK man, I've done really, really well in the past with the stock build (swapped LRM for SRM6), but it has to be played differently than most heavies. I think the problem stems largely from players that can't adapt their playstyle to the mech as much as it stems from the mech lacking hardpoints/not having a high alpha.

yes they are posted in the patch notes in the announcments.

i play SMN all the time and do just fine in it Kristian, that said these changes do nothing to improve on it if that was their goal.

I'm still unsure on why one of the better Shadow Cat omnipods goes unchanged (ECM torso with 17 extra health).

Adder still doesn't get any CT health buffs, making me sad, but meh.

The Summoner buffs didn't really make me that impressed but the SRMmoner will be better now with the few buffs it did get.

The Gargoyle looks to be more tanky so that is nice, it may be a decent Clan option for rush/brawling decks.

It got a fair bit of additional structure, but yeah the changes don't really look like they will make much of a difference.

I think people can do well with a lot of different things actually. There is not much pressure to go meta or go home in solo queue. A lot of people do not follow meta unless getting a particularly "meta" streak of matches.

That said, it is still a pretty disadvantaged chassis, and it'll probably be getting something for it, if only some structure quirks to offset the bad hitbox.

the Summoner and Gargoyle were the big winners with the Mad Dog gaining some agility, the IIc's were ignored (Highlander IIc needs agility PGI), TC buffs are mostly insignificant. Shadow Cat is fine in PGI's eyes, minor changes to others. TBR becomes sluggish. We'll have to see how the "nerfs" to IS mechs works out, but overall, PGI could have saved themselves a month's time.....

As someone who loves and regualarly drives smnrs and gargys and will still drive them even if they got a nerfhammer I say yay to the attention.

And remember people, a mech can only perform as well as its pilot. (well aside from godmode/bugged/broken quirks)

Actually I already love the Gargoyle, but would love to make it a brawler. The Summoner changes look good too, these changes might just give the clans two brawling mechs (something they needed). For that, I appreciate the changes. I really wish the highlander IIc got some agility though, mastering it is painful.
