Lt.Col 'Sixzero' You are directed to make all haste with attached assets to the front line, your corridor of advance will bring your mixed elements into conflict with Davion forces. Expect light, sporadic resistance.

We expect decent battlefield salvage, in anticipation of this projected windfall attached to your command is the 1198^th recovery and repair brigade.

At your jump off point there will be other house units, the order of the day is to form ad-hoc companys and secure territory.

Resistance on Capolla is neither 'light' or 'sporadic'
Contact was lost with forward elements of the 13NR at 0430 hrs, the 1-SR did not make it to the jump off point, we expect their assets to arrive in system in two weeks. Two weeks is a long time.
As of this report we are dispatching a request for any available support on this front.

As of 1930hrs (Local) elements of the 1FWG and the 'scratch' companies comprised of a mix of various house and mercenary units we formed on the ground. We began making serious headway into the planets' defensive fortifications.

The overall commander of the Op Force had concentrated their forces at key sites. The forces encountered were largely made up of green pilots and were loosely directed by a small cadre of seasoned pilots. POW's captured revealed that the Davion forces lack a reliable means of communication between the command elements of their forces and the green elements under their charge.

Of note, the combat actions of the mercenary unit “Cobra Command” should be recognized. With no outside 'encouragement' by a house command team, the aforementioned merc's dove into combat operations within the hour of planet fall. To the Pursuer who secured that contract, you have my thanks.

Capolla has fallen!
The last elements of the Capolla defense force were eliminated approximately 20 minutes ago, my hands are still shaking from the adrenaline.
The final Gauss battery held a surprise for the 'scratch company' I had been tasked with. The Intel dossier that was sent with our re-enforcements provided intelligence leading ONI and SAFE to both agree that the Head Hunters of Davion kept a training regiment on this world, Throughout operations we found evidence of their occupation, but no assets. That was until we moved on the planetary control node.
4 companies of HHoD moved in behind our forward elements and cut off our avenue of retreat.
After about an hour of intense combat we came out on top.
Signal the troop ships to begin landing.
