The Orion IIC will probably be about 8 to 9 mil, and the Highlander IIC will likely be 11mil to 12mil.

I have them, but I'm de-whaling and not buying everything any more (none of the singlets since the Urbie and only JR7&HBK of IIC), so I'm actually considering CB usage in the future (I have 115MM now, but even with new economy, when you start buying chassis with CB, it burns fast) much more than I have in the past. The question here is just how many more Jenner IICs I buy.

So, at least $5m per mech is what you are going to end up spending... most of it on the engine.

Absolutely. But 315s cash out pretty well and take some of the edge of that. Not many builds actually use that engine (it's in the unfortunate engine dead spot between the 300 and 325)

Well, they are good for temporary engines for the Highlander (I don't care about the Onions... I mean Orions).
Hoarding engines is a good thing in the Paulconomy.

What Paulconomy? I'm pulling down 450k/match on good matches. My rather heavily back-weighted average earnings is already up 1k/match. The Paulconomy is over.

This sounds like a reasonable estimate to me, given the general cost of Clan hardware overall.

You're not charging for the DHS upgrade and endo steel. Endo steel is 350k, DHS is 1.5 million. (Not sure on ferro upgrade cost, you need the upgrade and the armor price, you've got the armor price, but not the upgrade.) So, even if the rest of your numbers are spot on (and at a glance they don't look bad, but I'm not going to double check everything), you're estimate is still almost 2 million low.

I get nowhere near that kind of money.
That's even before "consumable deductions" and premium.

how much do arctic cheetos, stormcrows, Timbies and Warhawks cost? Should be roughly analogous.

I know for a fact PGI does not include the in-game upgrade fees in the purchase price of any mech to date. So that's why those fees are not counted. If you don't believe me, name any mech with upgrades stock and I'll be able to prove those exact fees are not included in the purchase price.
Until then, my numbers shall stand as the most accurate.
Do you happen to have a spreadsheet of those, that you might also happen to be willing to share via google docs or somesuch?
Not because I'm doubting your numbers, so much as I'm a geek and I like information. "Information is ammunition," and all that.

Then again, this is also the kind of thing that could generate one of those data-resource threadnoughts we see on the forums.
