Hey guys, have a quick question. I thought I recalled PGI making an announcement a while back to the effect that we could now pause our Premium Time, but that we could only do it once a quarter or something. Does anyone recall how to do that? I thought there was a link on your Profile>MWO/Profile page, but I don't see it now. I also can't find it in-game.

Got too much RL stuff at this time and need to walk away from the game for a bit. However, I don't want to see my Premium Time run down while I'm gone. Anyone remember how to pause it? Thanks!

I think you have to look at premium time as like a paid subscription like a World of Warcraft model.
You buy a 30 day membership into premium membership. Now if you paid for 30 days of WoW subscription you would not be able to pause that when you logged out, go to work, vacation etc you paid for 30 days. It wouldn't make sense to be able to buy 30 days of premium subscription and stretch it out to 50-60 days.

Those 30 days of premium time help pay the bills at PGI, so if you like the extra rewards they hope you keep subscribing to be a premium member.

No pausing but you can activate 30 days of banked premium time as you go. Once activated you can't pause that 30 days.

Banked premium time is usually only available through buying mech packages. Premium time won through challenges/tourneys or bought with MC start to tick down from when you win/buy it.

I understand all that, I just thought there had been an announcement that we were allowed to pause it. I was asking if anyone remembered something to this effect; not what Premium Time is.

Roger all that and thanks. I know that once it activates that it just keeps ticking down. I just couldn't remember if there was a way to pause it or not. I suppose not; bummer.
