I want to talk with my ISP to see if I can buy a more direct path to the NA, Euro or Oceanic server.

Can anyone tell me the IP addresses of the three game servers? (I searched but could only find contradictory information, possibly outdated.)

Thanks.

Your not going to be able to "buy" a more direct path there will need to be customer complaints or in the past PGI has spoken with some ISPs like Telstra.

If your considering throwing money at it try one of the VPN services (some do trials) see if the direct path is worth it.

Why not? I know for a fact my ISP takes a roundabout route to Singapore. Maybe I can get them to route my connection a more direct route if I pay a little extra.

Yeah, tried that. It shaves 30 off my ping to the Oceanic Server when I connect my VPN direct to Singapore.

I am hoping for a more permanent solution though, especially for the NA server where all CW matches are hosted.

Thanks. 192.99.109.192 must be the Oceanic Server.

ISPs really don't care, if you want them to really care just leave them.. sometimes even threatening to leave them gets results..

No he's pinging the website, hosted in canada.

ISP's don't offer a cash for routing service ( not to mention how much that should never happen.)
If your ping was improved by using a VPN, then your better checking with PGI that this is a viable long term solution, and that you won't fall into their "ban list"

The imaginary one that Russ implied would be forthcoming ( at some point before the real 3050).

Connect to the server on your computer.

Do a CMD command at the run line to get a command prompt.

Do a NETSTAT command when you have connected to a match and look at open connections to get the server IP address you are connected to...

This will report everything you are currently connected to, so you may want to close down all the chrome tabs you have open to browse while waiting in que...

Why would PGI be concerned about me using a VPN to improve my ping...?

Because PGI tend to take whiney peoples ideas, and alot of people wanted anyone using a VPN to be banned because they must be *shady*
I wouldn't put it past PGI to take an interest in VPN users, hence why i say just check.

Someone in another thread used 101.100.201.86 which pings back to singapore (i can't confirm thats the right IP right now tho)

Oh! I thought you were referring to some (new) rule that included VPNs as part of some list of banned software. Whew!

Oh! You were referring to VPNs.

Well, that would be even more stupid than Netflix doing the same.
