Wow, again I am blown away by the Community here. Thank you all for your assistance. I actually decided to max out the Hunchback and then move to a long range sniper type mold. So far, I am getting better daily.
Thank you again everyone.
Thank you again everyone.

We're happy to help, XD.
If you give us the chassis/variant, and weapons loadout, we can give you fine tuned tips, XD.

Here are my recommendations from a lot of experience trying to snipe with many mechs.
Heavy: Heavy mechs can be snipers, like the Jager, but from my experience, the best sniper heavy's are the Laser/PPC catapult and the Gauss+medium laser Marauder. Both have high weapon mounts, low profile and good hill-humping capabilities. Another possibility is the gauss Jager, but that this has huge hit boxes and not exactly the fastest engines. Its not bad, but I would rather choose the Cat or MAR over the Jager.
Assault: These mechs make better sniper because the have the tonnage to carry multiple long range weapons. The best "sniper" for assaults is the Stalker, hands down. Get the hero stalker, You can stick 3 ERLL and a Gauss rifle in it. Plus nearly all the weapons are 'high' mounted. After the stalker, I would say the KGC comes a close second (out of personal preferences), you can fit 2 gauss rifles in the arms (which are low mount, which sucks but have 30 pinpoint damage with no heat is amazing) but you can stick a ERLL in the torso to help snipe/supplement your gauss damage. After that I would say the Direwolf comes third, with its hand mounted weapons only, and really damn slow movement speed its really hard to bring your weapons to bear, but can carry a ****-ton of long range weapons. After that I would say maybe the Mauler (with gauss and PPC's, but not recommended because of the terrible torso pitch/yaw/twist range), this mech is just honestly better as a missile platform. The warhammer isn't bad, but its weapons locations arent optimal, but can at least bean a functional ERLL boat, but not the best use of the mech. You can also go with PPC's, but to be honest PPC's are sub optimal in comparison to lasers right now. Just too much heat and often times the projectile is too slow.
