god dammit PGI i am trying to play with my friends and we all want is a 3-4 team of locusts but i can not because of your ****** tonnage limit in drop group

why can not i do this i can with one other friend but as soon as i get 3 in the tonnage jumps to 80 FROM 40!!!! make it 60 you {Richard Cameron}

so much for my fun idea now i have to get one to go hevy to make ends meet fix this **** im not ******* happy abut this it was hard enough to get my friends to play now i got this **** to deal with

PS.can i make a team of all the same mech and it let us drop??

When you're in a mid sized group, you are already at a disadvantage, then you come along and throw away 200+ tons.
You make extreme tonnage disparities. Join a larger group and give them the tonnage, if you want to troll.

1. Balance (in this case, team balance. You don't want a lance of Atlas either)

so its not balance problem its PGI not getting there **** together if i can go all same mech with others why not locusts

Because weight disparity correlates strongly with match outcome. The group queue population isn't large enough to ensure skill parity, tonnage parity, perfectly fit all the different group sizes, and give you fast search times. So PGI put a weight minimum to at the very least minimize the harm small groups can do to the rest of the team.
