This is from the patch notes:
• The client will now automatically use DirectX 11 if your video card is compatible. This only applies to new players; players with an existing local profile will be unaffected.
I was wondering why I was getting worse performance than before the patch so I looked in the video options to see if anything had changed, that's when I noticed that DX11 was forced on even though it shouldn't have been. Switched it back to DX9 and everything was back to normal.
If you're having issues after the patch check there first.

Yea i got this too, now my alt tab is all weird, i cant full screen in ONE monitor it takes up both for some reason as well.

I found mine changed to DX11 as well - Client is running like a dog on DX11 - but it wouldn't even load before on DX11, so some improvement there - just switched it back to DX9 - will check it tomorrow.

Overall performance seems to be the same, but due to some reasons some particles and effects are slower, which causes sudden FPS drops, which is uncomfortable - DX9 runs smoother.
