Ok I bet there a hundred posts about this, couldn't find any, but am curious how the Merc Corps are going to be hired by houses. Will they be contracted like in Mech II or something else?

Am curious about that myself. How are we going to run the many Merc Corps that are up and coming now. I know clans existing (Like mine) are running corps and so many new being created just for this.

There's no definitive info released on it. Presumably it will be related to the metagame, which they said wouldn't be out at release so...

Contracts are auto-generated by the game. There will be plenty of them for the mercs to fight over. Might I suggest reading the Primer? There's an outstanding - nay, brilliant - explanation of how this works in there.

Merc Corps can take contracts given out by houses, when they do they gain loyalty points with the house. Also, regarding if House Units or Merc Corps can hire other Merc Corps; the Dev's response was "...post launch".

My answer helped plenty. The primer explains the entire contract process, loyalty points, and how merc corps will work. Not my fault if you can't be bothered to read it.
