More than once I've had a heavier slow mech 85 tons + going 66k or less grouped up with fast light mechs.
Of course I get wrecked because they leave me, and guess who spawned closest to me otherwise.

Fast reds.

This **** hasn't happened afaik until this last patch.
More quality Q/A I see.

******* ridiculous.

It was in a couple patches ago as well.

Things like this are to be expected given the games track record for re-surfacing bugs, frankly I'm surprised we haven't seen the yellow screen one pop back up.

I like it, changes things up, initial movement strategies must be re-thought. No longer:"fatties starting far left" ...or at least for the time being

Nothing like Stalkers and Dire Wolves dropping with the Lights. You hope that your whole team won't leave you behind...but they do anyway. I really hope that they get this crap fixed soon.

No bonus for you before this ancient bug is fixed.

I was grouped up mostly with Assaults/Heavies in my Stalker until the most recent patch, and I was wondering why the change. The 3 fast movers in my lance will leave me immediately once we power up. I never blame them because it would be real boring sitting in a Jenner/Locust traveling at 60kph escorting my Stalker. I will say have fun and run ahead - I'll catch up later.

If nobody slows down for you you end up FAR away from your group with the enemy lights quickly on your ***. No matter your "initial movement strategies" your life is in your group's hands unless you can deal with 2-4 lights by yourself.

It's broken.

Isn't it kind of a toss up though? I mean, previously the opinion was the assaults were grouped in their own lance and more often than not, the farthest lane away thus all the QQ about being left behind and getting creamed by fast reds.....

Catch 22 I guess. People in general need to learn this isn't a single player game and stay together. Say what you will about deathballs, but they work....

I wonder if it is linked to the relaxing of the 3/3/3/3 rules when they released the Rifleman. Maybe the rules governing who is in what lance is linked to the number of each weight class somehow.

You've not ridden a chariot like a King Crab or Atlas into battle.

It is glorious.

Not had this yet, but I also don't tend to end up by myself unless I'm not paying attention

I'm pretty sure it's this. They've done it for every other 'mech release, and then they tighten the MM back up in a week or so.

Or maybe not, according to the patch notes.

Technically its not so much broken as the majority of the players are idiots that just abandon 1/3 of their team.
