But, within the guidelines of the OP, I would love to see the Fafnir above all else.
It would fit in with MWO very well, as its primary armament is two high mounted ballistics. It also uses ECM.
There are more than enough lore variants to make a pack out of as well, and of course PGI could easily come up with their own versions.
For a clan fatty Id say Deimos would be awesome. Technically mid 3060's. It is an omni, so lots of variants. Again, high mounted weapon points.
Seeing the early IS Omnis would be neat too.

On that note as well wish they would fix Gauss to be instant like in the previous games :/ They feel so MEH in the current MWO scheme :/

The big goal here is add mechs people would want that would give us what we want and provide PGI with healthy profit off this, while not breaking the game!
Thanks
I want content.
(see mw2/mw3/mw4 for what I'm talking about)

There is a thing called mechlab... in which you can install larger engines.

the penetrator. weighing in at 75 tons(the sweet spot) this mech is a beast and prominently featured in lore. with plenty of options for hero mechs and standard models. base comes with 2 larges lasers and 6 mediums pulse lasers plus JJs. later models mount missiles and ecm. this is my number one pick for future inclusion into mwo.
P.S unseen longbow, Stone rhino/behemoth.

It's not an opinion, it's a factual statement. It's not an endorsement nor is it a complaint, merely a statement of truth.
There is absolutely no sync between the "timeline" for adding new mechs and the "timeline" for the CW section. There's not a single time, date, or other chronological item I can find anywhere on the website to even give a current date.
Russ even stated on twitter that there's no timeline.
If you have a mech you'd like to see implemented, discuss it, but lets' not think that the "timeline" has anything to do with that other than what I listed above and forget about using it as an excuse to prevent the implementation of certain mechs
You didn't look very hard then:
https://mwomercs.com/clock
Not to mention the tutorial video clearly calls out the time as 3051.
But as the OP mentioned, it's the technology, not the timeline that is the criteria for mech selection, not year. Anything that requires new weapons or new systems isn't going to happen currently.

then it will be nice to have some weapons this game realy need...mainly light autocannons and gauss and micro lasers for lighter mechs

Urbanmech 2C,Blood Asp,Cougar for clams.
As much as I would love to see other modules and weapons, with the way convergence works,I just don't see the point in adding more weapons(as badly as they are needed) simply because we already have a helluva time with the lovely extreme pin point alpha strikes.
