Has something changed in a recent patch for quick match? The quick match button is grayed out when I join a friend's group. Is there something extra I have to do to join quick match with a friend?

There are two separate queues for solo and group players. The quick play button is for solo only. When you create a group, once everybody is ready click the launch button in the group pop and you'll search for a match in the group queue. If this hasn't been clear here is a video where I go through launching a group match.
