Clans are Closing in
Steiner Has abandoned us.
Enemies on all sides

The Augusta Book Exchange Battlemech Raiders Formally requests the Free Rasalhague Republic to formulate directed attack maneuvers to reclaim territory from the clans.

TL;DR Screw the clans, WE NEED TO TAKE OUR PLANETS BACK!!!!!

Steiner hasn´t abandoned the FRR. Some units might have, but the majority of the SAS keeps defending your planets.

Still focusing attacks might be a good idea.

Heh, the majority of the IS defends our planets. Often our borders are the only place with active matches available.

With the way random planet selection works and the likely map-reset slated for April, I don't think a lot of units are too concerned about our maps current standing. Right now there are a lot of loyalist units not in the FRR (Space Vacationing for MechBays before phase 3 launches) and, actually, not many Mercs in the FRR either.

With so many of our guys away, and often in other factions attacking us (Looking at you LOKI) our population is too small to stop the tide.

I think, I hope, that'll change though after the map is reset and phase 3 goes live.

However, if there is a strong desire currently for unified attack orders I think that can be arranged.

Steiner has not abandoned us and we will not abandon it either. but as mech said, there are many issues we face in dealing with this threat such as population issue and the sheer size of territory make it hard to focus our efforts. The Clans got brand spanking new buffs to their targeting comp, no neg perks, increased perks, and that many large and/or good merc units went back to the Clans. Such is the way of CW. I hope you have screenshots of the FRR before last week, that was the best we've ever done and the worst the Clans have had IRT keeping territory.

Things will settle down, we will regroup and make a concentrated push from around the capital most likely since this has happened several times before. Just do the best you can with what you've got and we'll be good to go.

And we greatly appreciate your help SAS and all of the IS units that drop against the Clans.

We (FRR) has had a completely unsustainably wide territory and number of fronts thanks to the period with underpopulated clans and overpopulated (big merc units) FRR, so there is no way to not lose planets once the clans are repopulated and the FRR is in the way of all of them.

I think we can control the shift of territory and dominate two clan fronts or so, but we're gonna lose some planets now. No way around that.

I think we need to shrink a bit so it's a good thing. IMO the FRR community is at it's best when outnumbered and surrounded by enemies, all the new recruits needs to harden up also. It will be a good time for MJ12 to return.

PGI wants there to be a Clan invasion. There cannot be a Clan invasion without the FRR getting torn to shreds. Your role in the greater scheme of things is thus to be torn to shreds by the Clans. I am quite sure that if the big merc units hadn't gone back to the Clans on their own and commenced with the tearing, PGI would have implemented a "let's get the invasion going" event as they did last time.

If L0KI can get more people we could get some sustained clan-vs-clan action going in support of the FRR. So come join L0KI.

"Steiner has abandoned us."

We're about to have the same number of fronts with the clans as you do.

The ones who have abandoned both of us are those traitorous snakes that are Kuritans. Posted Image

Smoke Jag has elected to stop attacking them, and instead cut a path through you to attack us.

Errr... no. Smoke Jaguar/MS has been taking a planet from us (nearly) every NA ceasefire for quite a while now.

As for defense... we drop in defense of FRR planets to get matches, like everyone else.

I still see plenty of Steiners and Kuritans fighting for our defense when I solo drop. Granted, a good chunk of them are unorganized skittle drops, but they are there slugging it out alongside us daily. Don't let the rout bother you too bad. After the clan lines advance closer to Terra, we'll do what we always do, recapture what was steamrolled, take short breaks, and come back harder than the previous cycle.
