What is your screen #1 by windows opinion, e.g. which display is primary? And which is first display in video drivers configs (nVidia drivers do distinct somehow and shows that)? Might be that MWO starts not where it was last time, of where is your cursor (as some time before it was) but defaults to the 'primary' display.

Then reassign if possible and rearrange displays virtual layout if needed (will not require physical monitors to be moved). Then much depends on windows version how much it will affect your normal course of action.
If that is unacceptable, then let's hope they'll update their launcher.

2 monitors. Primary houses windowed MWO client - secondary shows chrome / firefox / whatever / even nothing.
Windowed because you cannot switch between programs without minimizing MWO if in full screen.
Changing to full screnn via alt+enter now shuts my second monitor off. It goes blank just the moment i switch to full screen.

Video > Direct X version > DX9 > problem solved.
Somehow DX11 on MWO slows the whole system and deactivates secondary screens if full screened via ALT+ENTER.

My client seemed to have set itself to DX 11 after the recent patch, causing problems for me, changing it back to DX 9 solved my issue, thanks for the tip Luise.

dx9.oc also fixes the bluescreen from the canyon network
so now they know where to look lets find a fix for it guys instead of the hot fix for a flamer who gained a slight advantage from 5 yards away who i might run into once every 3 or 4 weeks of playing.
thanks guys for the help

The problem is that most cards that have issues with DX11 are actually officialy do not support DX11. And PGI plans in half a year move to the new CryEngine that will, most probably, leave DX9 behind. I'd take that as a first warning to upgrade.
And can I haz PPC shot/hit animation from Closed Beta?

Words of wisdom Pyro. If your gpu is 5-6 years old, its time to save up for a new system.
