Highly anticipated game launches early unstable and totaly buggy

As an old gamer I would like to know how the gaming community feels about crappie launches in the past.
For example games that were rushed out the door buggy and half-done do these games ever recover and come back or do they just die slow after that??? And this is something I don’t want see happen to MWO especially with all the effort they have put into it.

Well, the open beta should be bug free.

But since Founders get acces to closed beta on Aug 7th, the game will still be buggy and that is okay. Just because this is what closed beta is for: Finding bugs and inbalances in the game.
So, as long as the hardware is ready for the Founders I say: Lets game!

If CTDs are the issue, then I'd gladly wait. If the bugs are things like glitching textures, sound clips, and other minor things, I don't particularly care. I never can get immersed into a game enough for minor stuff to be game breaking, but if the game IS breaking, then how could it be entertaining at all?

They will release the game when they are ready... until then a select few 20 - 30 k or so will be able to help them out while they perfect it.

Thats the way I would have answered, but since nothing was close to that I didn't take the poll.

Every recent game released has been bug filled rubbish and they all do fine.

Gameplay smooth =) I think they're wise holding off on final release, keeping August 7th as a *founder* closed-beta release date
