You should put a button in our profile section that allows us to DELETE our MWO account, should we choose to do that. I'm currently trying to deal with this situation and it has yet to be done: I've emailed an MWO technical person, Sergio, to delete one of my MWO accounts so that I can have my actual go-to real email address put into a different MWO account that I want to keep and continue using. I've spent a large amount of $ in that account and not the first, such that I want to continue using it, but it's linked to an email account that I closed. If I could delete the first MWO account, I could get into the second MWO account, link my real/current email to it and continue with it. As it stands, the second won't let me change the email because it's still linked to the first MWO account. I'm not going to spend any $ in either account until the first is gone and the second is linked. Yes, I can play with the second, but if I ever forget my password (which does happen) then I won't be able to get into it ever again because it's not linked to my current and usual email address.

Hmm, why not set the one account you will not be playing to a different email address first, freeing up that preferred email address, then put that preferred email on the account you are keeping?
I do not see them actually deleting an account, only making it inactive/banned/etc. PGI added the ability to change your email back in Oct 2013, the email though can only be attached to one account at a time.
Edit, and if you forgot the password to the 1st/no longer wanted account, that is why you have the ability to reset the password, log in and change the email address, freeing up your preferred email address.
