Ok, I am not sure if this has been touched on but i feel it needs to be said. Everyone knows that high weapon hard points are far superior to mid-low level and a few mechs have glorious hard points. I will use the banshee 3m as an example. both shoulders have beautiful high hardpoints, but to use them you must use all the hard points to boost the weapons to the high points...like in order to put 4 lpl's in the high points you also have to equip another weapon, most commonly small lasers or tag lasers. What I am requesting is that when you create a mech that you choose exactly what weapon hard points your weapons occupy so you don't have to mount weapons to boost them to that point. It would bring mech custimization to a new, more elite level and I feel it is crucial to the enjoyment of certain mechs, that or make them auto fill the higher hard points as oppose to the lower hard points. thnx for reading

I think this could be taken a bit further even. It's obvious from the detail on each Mech where the weapon hardpoints are when you're looking at the rendered model. Why not simply make your weapon load out a drag and drop to the models hard points? Making this more graphical in nature and reducing the 'spreadsheet'. I think using a drag and drop, socket style overlay would make mechlab cleaner looking and more useful for customizing high/low firing setups.

Long lasting request continuing from the very beginning of closed beta. Do you think PGI even care?
They don't read their forums, you can write here any stupid or wise sug, whatever. You can write here whatever you want actually.
If you actually want to see this feature in the nearest future in MWO (like in 4-5 years ahead) - you have to write it in Bullock's twitter. And if you get his reaction like "I'll think of it..."' - there is a hope for you.
