It seems like there are information fragments here and there about the exact details of heat sinks and ghost heat, but they seem outdated by recent patches / updates.

Like single heat sinks now are listed as 1.2 not 1 or something and double heatsinks are 1.4 not 2 ect. Then theres heatsinks in the engine, which apparently have different values.

It would be nice if I could find a page with the exact details of heatsinks and ghostheat as they currently work now.

Smurfy pulls its data from game files so they should always be up to date. Here's a couple links that might help:

This one gives the stats for the heat sinks. Just mouse over the stats by the item. Like an IS Double Heat Sink increases dissipation by .14 normally and .2 if in the engine while increasing the threshold for overheating by 1.5.

This one shows the number of weapons needed to generate ghost heat and how much heat that will generate.

Smurfy has the most accurate data.

Here's the TL;DR:

Singe Heatsinks were recently buffed so they dissipate at 0.12, if they are external (as in, they are did not come with the engine, and you had to put them in), internal SHS dissipate at 0.11 if they come with the engine, and they increase the threshold by 1.2

Double Heatsinks have almost always dissipated at 1.4 external, 0.20 internal, and now increase the threshold by 1.5

Clan DHS were nerfed a bit recently, so they dissipate at 0.15 external, 0.20 internal, and increase threshold by 1.1
