You are assuming you team mates understand english. I never do. If they keep doing what you percieve to be the wrong thing you should just try and run with the herd and stay alive as long as possible.

This is why I ONLY play on NA servers. Low latency and hopefully english speaking teammats. No offense to Non english speakers meant.

OP, its your fault your teem lost !!!
Didn't you hear? There are players here who brag and say they carry their team and that's why Win/ Loss should count in your rating. Yes there are players in MWO who can make their team win. I have heard their bragging right here on this forum.

I had NASCAR @ bog last night, where the lights actually managed to finish a lap. We went into the water at first, then came out in a great position to flank. I thought, ok, we'll stop here, but the lights charged ahead at full speed. I was in a KGC, so I had to cut corners, and got shot up a bit, but got into an ok position. The lights continued charging round, and we were getting hit hard from the back. Numerous calls to come back to help, but by this time, the lights were back at the original position we spawned at, thus completing their lap, along with some idiot mediums. Nevertheless, it was 6v12, and we got slaughtered. Now, the lights were going on their 2nd lap, but got slaughtered half-way through.

Its like they were not even interested in shooting other mechs, but more interested in completing laps. The last light to get killed dealt something like 20dmg, and was 3/4 of his way through his 2nd lap.

Some NASCAR, especially with the assaults is fine, but what occurred was ridiculous. I wan't so much angry as amazed by it.

That said, tier 2 has much less NASCAR than the lower tiers, and I'm glad for that.

And so goes PUGs. I have no expectations at all about concerted team work in PUGs. Sometimes I'm surprised and it happens, but that's not the norm.

I take what I can get and rinse, wash, repeat.

Adapt.

I've stopped spending time figuring out why PUGs do dumb **** and just use them. Does sound like you threw your mech away. You would probably have a greater chance at victory if you just carried the DWF player instead dieing early with him.

What really happened:

PUG turns off chat and VOIP, ignores everything, dies as usual.

There's piles of them out there that simply don't want help. The only real way to guide them is generating red doritios, and that generally means "burn a UAV at close range to the enemy".

Giving orders doesn't make you the majority, and frequently, annoyed PUGs deliberately go "blind" and "deaf" anyway.

OP,

I mean this in the nicest way possible.

You suck.

You decided that you were in charge after the match was underway. You started spouting obscenities when people didn't immediately respect your authority. You went yolo rather than work with your team because boo hoo they wouldn't do what you wanted. You were a failure that match.

Next time, if you have a strategy, you need to get on comms right away and get everyone on the same page. If they aren't listening, then YOU need to adapt to what is actually happening rather than going yolo. If your pugmates are just racing around the map, you need to get with the biggest group of them and just fight there.

Oh, and next time, instead of starting out by throwing orders around, maybe just announce where the contacts are and if possible, what they are. Let your teammates figure out for themselves if they're going to turn and fight or not.
