W10 x64 with x64 client installed

Running as full screen 1270x768 with native being 1600x900.

2 issues that have started in the last patch or two.

1. Frequently game client closes and leaves my resolution at 1280x768. This may have do with Alt-Tabbing.

2. When my wife pulls out my laptop cord to charge her laptop, the game screen goes blank. Alt-Tabbing twice to leave and re-enter the game fixes this, but 20 odd seconds goes by doing it.

This patch the direct x setting was automatically set to 11. It was killing my frame rate and messing up alt tab until I put it back to 9.

That got me back about 1.5FPS of the 4 it had dropped. (And I'm forcing it down to 22 already, it dropped to ~18)
Still having he windowing issues, and the last time my wife pulled the power, the client actually crashed

The changes occurring when the laptop switches to battery is indicative of the fact that your graphic drivers are set to switch to power saving or optimal power use i.e. it lowers graphic performance.

You might want to take a look at that.

Nope.
I've disabled that long ago.
Only thing it does is drop the brightness.

To summarize the resulting play experience.
7 losses
2 Wins
1 Loss
1 Win
11 Losses
1 Win
5 Losses

As opposed to what would normally be ~2 wins per 3 losses given the mech I'm using.

Also, despite all that, I've spent the last 8 matches with apparently 0 score in Tier 3, and have "dropped" in every loss but 1, and I'm still sitting at apparently 0 score in Tier 3.

And at match #9 and 6 losses I'm finally down in Tier 4. That might compensate slightly.

conclusion. Pretty much not worth playing. So much for the Archer package Posted Image

Heh,
Tier 4 = WLW and back to Tier 3
10x the damage and 2x the team kills.
that's a HUGE difference.

Why the hell are you and your wife sharing a laptop charger cord? You should both have one each for your laptops!!! BUY HER ONE ALREADY, and show you care more!!!

Either that or she is trying to get his attention. Pulling the cord may be more effective than straddling his lap since the laptop is in the way........Posted Image
