I've been waiting on the Black Kahniggits to go on sale, so imagine my joy when I look on the store and sure enough, they are listed as being on sale and have the sale banner on 'em and everything.
Only they're not really on sale. That's right, PGI is blatantly violating FCC regulation 233.1 (seriously, that's the one) in claiming a sale price that is the same as the former price. In addition, they're almost certainly violating laws against deceptive advertising that exist in practically every state.
So join me now, fellow Mechwarriors, in contacting the FCC, your state's attorney general, your congressman, your senators, the FBI, the NSA, the CIA, and if you have a time machine and get can back to the Cold War, the KGB and even the East German Stasi. This is literally the worst deception in all of human history, and we must not let these scofflaws get away with it!

Probably an oversight by PGI. Since it can be easily explained by stupidity, I hesitate to attribute it to that of malice.

1. There are people, I'm not naming names here, who are taking this thread entirely too seriously. I'm not sure what more I could have done to prevent this. I mean, I did reference the KGB, Stasi, Illuminati, Freemasons, and a link to South Park.
2. This is the first sale in the last couple months that didn't include discounted c-bill pricing. It made it the perfect target for my silliness.

UCC regulations are practically identical in Canada to the US. Problem is saying they are "on sale" is not a complete lie, and probably not going to reach the level of fraud.... Now if you pushed the purchase button and they charged you more than the button said, then we would have a fraud case.
