But ppcs in mechassaut2 were more usefull when you didnt get a lock on target and basically shoot before ennemy lock was avaiable and also before see the ennemy..
Lots of good pilots did use it as suppress fire agaisnt ennemies ( in opposite lots of bads pilots took thoses supress fire directly in CT ).

Pros:
And well mechassaut2 was the last BT video game where you can kill someone by using JJ also death from above.
Hammer gun was cool too^^
Kill a 100 tons mech with a elemental armor or stole main ennemy mech, damn cool too.
Dodging alpha strike ( in timberwolf specially ) by shut down his mech at very last moment before tracking alpha strike was unleash was damn awesome too xD

But ragnarock wasnt cool at all...


Mechassaut2 wasnt the perfect BT game but was a really cool BT game specially for console audience. Chromehound was interesting too but not enough variety.

I got into MW with MW1/2 on my potato W95 but after it got too slow and old we couldn't afford a new PC, around that time in 2001 I got an xbox for xmas and mechassault came with it. Best fun I ever had at that time.

No friend MechCommander-2 was a tactical turn based game that was awesome to play and MechAssault was not crappy it was a great game with good looking mechs so was MechAssault2 Lone Wolf.

If the next clan assault is a battlemech yes. If they do a four mech pack, they usually do omnimechs, therefore blood asp, the next good clan omni, is in line, because the kingfisher and the turkina are both gross missteps if those are the mechs they end up adding.

Actually, it is from MechAssault 2, not MechCommander 2. Supposed to have also been in the SNES version of MechWarrior. Never played either.
