Why can we not opt to receive our package rewards early?

I'd rather have my Premium Time, C-Bills, and Modules now than in 3-4 months.

Not really if you elect to have them early you wave away the refund option.

Or you know, they're removed from your account?

I mean, what's to stop anyone from doing the same thing with actual MC purchases?

From this I am guessing it is about customer satisfaction. There would be more outrage if PGI did it like this and we were locked into the pack as soon as we buy it as opposed to being able to opt out, no harm no foul for several months.

I'm guessing PGI would not like to have to do that for every account that cancels a pack over the course of several months, plus how are they going to remove stuff like 6 million c-bills if, say, they are already spent?

Well, if you use your MC, than probably you lose the chance to ask. Same goes for the early premium.

Don't know, I was theorycrafting, the OP should write to the CS and get a proper answer.

There was a thread about a guy who mistakenly received 65 million C-bills instead of 6.5 million and they took it all back and left him in a -56 million hole which he would have to dig himself out of.

Or they could do it like Wargaming, and you MUST have the money or items for them to refund you.

I will contact CS and see what they say.

Confirmed, you cannot get your rewards early.

Got a refund, I was hoping to have at least the premium time so I could keep playing after it runs out soon but I guess they hate money. Doubt I'll be playing by the time Kodiak comes out without it.

The point is to use those things for the mech release.

Because that's how the sale was specifically set up. Plus, having dealt with credit card companies as part of an old job, the customer is (or at least was) more likely to win an undeserved charge back request if they did not yet have access to everything they paid for.

That was very dumb of you to cancel what possibly is the best value per dollar of content yet offered by P.G.I.

That said you can still get any of the three released classic I.S. packs and still receive 30 days premium time(immediately) for the same price. I recommend the Marauder package as the 300 STD and 300XLs are quite useful.

I think it makes more sense to buy at least the $20 package if you want the Kodiak at all. Being that's three 100-ton machines each with a 400 XL, they will probably be one of the most expensive 'mechs in the game for c-bills. And you can get three of them for $20. That's a big time saver alone right there.

@Teleforce: Plus he gave up Ghost Bear camo which is unarguably one of the better paint schemes.

It doesn't matter if he won't be playing the game anymore...
