MIne artillery is one of many potential consumables that people have been requesting for quite some time, and in my opinion are one of the most interesting.
I'd like to see mines that trigger only when a mech of 50 tons or heavier trips it. Have them do solid damage with a big aoe that only hurts legs. Have them be destructible, but only if you are close, meaning lights and light mediums would be invaluable for clearing minefields (anything heavier risks triggering the mine if it is getting close enough to shoot at it.
