as the topic says...
I like to have atlas and play with them.. so thinking about boars head but unsure if its worth getting or not... with only one missle slot i am trying to figure out what it can offer better as compared to other atlas versions....

As one of my favourite mechs, I'll weigh in. I wouldn't even bother with that missile slot to be honest.
How it stands out among other Atlases:
But perhaps I just play it so much to make the $30-40 dollars + Mech Bay it cost sting a bit less since I bought it on release (FYI I have 7 Atlases in my stable).
Proof I don't suck:
How it stands out among other Atlases:
- The Boar's head can equip the largest engine of any Atlas (although most effective builds won't ever max out engine)
- Its got insane agility quirks above and beyond the other Atlas variants
- 3 energy hardpoints per arm allow you to track targets excellently in a brawl (and Atlas arms can take a huge beating)
- 30% C-bill boost (although if you're like me you already have a D(F) and an S(L) so this is not a huge selling point for some)

Yup. Like Sagamore says, you can run AC20 with laser claws and still be relatively fast with good cooling. It's a vicious brawler and one of my best mechs.

A dang nice paint job. Soon in 2k.

It mainly offers a big target to be shot at, whilst it's arm weapons hit the ground, as they are so low mounted.

Decent firepower, good hardpoint diversity, crappy hardpoint placement, cbill boost, and a perty paint job

To me it was a great investment as a great pin point brawler where as the Atlas S is a splat brawler in my opinion with the use of SRMs.
