I am finding that my Jenner IIc can deal enormous damage, but I will end up out dry on missiles before I get many kills. It got me thinking about efficiency. Would I get better result from slapping Artemis on my launchers? It will take the weight limit away from having more ammo, but my missiles could hit more effectively.
What's your opinion on this?

Takes too much weight. Remember that the biggest lure of Clan launchers is the halved mass of the launchers. If you need more ammunition, do remember that dropping from SRM6x6 to SRM4x6 is an extra 3 tons of free tonnage, reduced spread, lower heat, and faster RoF. Most of the SRM6's missiles actually don't hit unless you're either really close up or shooting at something the size of a barn (DWF's rear CT for some hot mech-on-mech action!), so you might as well go with SRM4s for more ammo and/or better cooling with greater precision.

Yeap, I'm doing SRM4s right now (they feel a lot more manageable). But I saw some vids of Artemis SRMs on heavier mechs, and damn the spread looks TIGHT (pun intended)!

Keep in mind that Artemis adds a slot to each launcher, so you'll have to drop one of the two from the CT.

Usually you don't want to strap Artemis on small launchers, reason being that Artemis (both IS and clan) adds 1 slot and 1 ton to the weight of the weapon system regardless of it being a SRM 2 or LRM 20.
clan SRM6 + Artemis is a great weapon, very precise and decently heat efficient, so the perfect match for cSPL/cMPL on clan medium mechs. That said Jenner IIC is too small to really take advantage of them so yeah you should stay with plain SRM4s

I use 4x srm4 in the arms and leave the centre empty. Filling all the slots made the mech too hot and firing up close I noticed my centre launchers wasted ammo by hitting the legs when I'm aiming for side torsos. Buffs the damage but not particularly useful.
If you're using the centre launchers I'd recommend removing them and adding more ammo rather than converting to Artemis. I generally do well with 7 tons.
