If CW introduces objective damage rewards (cbills), the new players and normal players would make a better effort on the objectives. Ie. shooting turrets / power grids / gens / omega.

Agreed.

Why engage a turret (for which you will receive no points for destroying) when you can let the new folks do that and can concentrate on padding your score by running around shooting folks pilling up (as a minimum), kill assists?

So the "leet" folks can say "if only my team was as good as me."

Objective game where you get no points for attacking the objectives is... illogical.

Been saying this for a while. If my lance is called to take down turrets, I do so, but I don't see any end-game credit for that damage. 10,000 C-Bills per turret... not worth it, especially when that heat/ammo could have gotten a kill and handful of assists for more money AND more loyalty points. At least add a LP boost for damage on turrets/gens .

Assuming, of course, you lock them in for the LRMs to follow. If we're going to cater to the new guys, lets get rid of turrets altogether and those boxes around the gens. You need to make the objectives easier for them to shoot at....and that means LRMs on trial mechs.

They do need to have this, but the reason they don't is because new players/pugs freak out even more if their opponents play the objectives instead of skirmish mode.

Yes, and it should go on the main Team Stat page next to regular damage. I bet there are lot of people who get middling scores because they were doing the responsible thing of taking out turrets and generators.

I would enjoy it a lot if the damage done to the objectives counted. Most of my damage during attack on wave 1, is on turrets. It would be nice if that was tracked and I got credit for it.

I believe the reason we don't see this stat or other stats regularly tracked, is because the CW servers are on a separate set of hardware than solo/pug queue, and they have to manually export them. This is why the TUK event stats take a week or so to post and are not available in real time. At least this is what I thought the reason.

I'm expecting that after CW Phase 3 comes out, and we see CW move closer to being out of Beta, PGI will do what is needed on the backend so our stats are tracked because stats are fun.
