I've got enough MC for either the Shadow hawk, Dragon or Wolverine mastery bundles. Out of those three which one would be the "better" choice.

Im not a big Dragon fan.
That said, I would rank them
WVR, SHD, then Dragon.
I would also say, I would give the WVR only the slightest advantage over the SHD due to quirks, but those tend to change A LOT. Plus the SHD has slightly better hardpoint locations IMO.

yeah that's what i was thinking. I was torn between the WVR or SHD. WVR was looking better but the SHD has better hardpoint placement.

Maybe spend some time messing around with the variants in the mech lab and take an educated guess as to what seem more viable to your play style.
That is what I usually do.

well the thing is. I don't have one play style. If anything i prefer using light hit and run tactics. Mediums i try to either snipe or brawls.

Well, brawl arguably favors the WVR, and sniping the SHD.
But, you do not need to look the mechs very long to figure out that either style is viable on either chasis.

I disagree about sniping. The Wuberine is a favorite of mine.
Wolverines are XL friendly. You have to protect that right arm though. Losing it is terrible.

hmm that's a bit too pricey for me at the moment. Also i don't think i have that variant with the Mastery bundle.

The thing that killed SHD for me was the cockpit view.

Not saying you cant do it, but SHD has the high shoulder mounts which in general favor hill poking and the like, which also allows for you to use arms as shields.
Flip side of course being you could also set up a SHD to make a fine brawler, but again I think the WVR in general is better suited for that.
Again, both very good choices IMO.
