Custom geometry has the problem of not being very reusable. That is, if you develop a custom shield for the Centurion, then that's obviously only usable for Centurions... the work-reward ratio might not quite be in it for PGI. I'd love them though.

Decals definitely coming in April. Paul mentioned to me that they're pretty close to done already so I'm surprised they're not in this March patch. I'm willing to bet (and hope) that they're going to be linked up with CW3 somehow. Maybe you'll get your faction decal automatically or something if you're signed up as a loyalist, or if you're a merc unity you'll get the ability to upload your own decal which will be applied to your unit members. Fingers crossed.

No way, but I always wanted mech banners. I am not excited about other custom geo to be honest. Banners, decals and camo/paint is awesome though.
These would all be popular, while custom geo may not be to much and also a lot more labour intensive comparatively because of this.

We'll need a new hat hitbox then for every mech that has one equipped. Destroying it will get you a large C-bill bonus in that match. And maybe confetti will come out from the explosion.

Most of the funny stuff that people want as custom geo would really work fine as a decal. Want a monocle? Decal. Mustache? Decal. Superman cap? You could probably get by with a decal.
Alternate Centurion shield-arm? Different Battlemaster canopy? Tough to make that into a decal.
