Yup LRMS Post

so the way i look at it.. I don't give a rat's arse if they only work in pugs (they could work in comp.. but they need a few changes... Self lock near instant.. faster travel, Con... way longer lock on no site.. rules on drop lock, watch matches... go with balance.

ohh yea, learning tool.. gets people to learn about cover... second most... twist...

Good luck with that one.
The Whine Battalion has fixed that one.
And they have lulled the masses into thinking they are just ineffective.
Then players forgo ams and stand stand around like clay pigeons.
After a constant stream of splat matches they too become part of 101st Whine Batt.
Are they competitive weapons?
Not in the least, but in Puglandia they can be nasty.

Wouldn't that arguably make Clan LRMs more effective if players would foolishly ignore them and take all the more damage for their arrogance?

True. Though the opportunity to avoid them is responsible for their reputation.

I've had the misfortune to turn a corner and see an LRM15X4 Mauler with Tag spot me. While I retreated as quickly as I could, I still learned an important lesson that day. Let somebody else corner peek. Posted Image
