They use to wait till Friday but to many peeps complained it was not enough lead time.
Now its usually announced by Thursday at 1PM EST...

Maybe they'll post it in 2 hours in Pacific Time, which would make it 3 PM for EST, and 1PM for PST.

Mentioning betting 500k cbills made me think of something I wish this game had incorporated into it... The ability to give other players cbills/mechs/equipment/modules.

That would be such a cool feature to be able to give my friends any of the above. Yeah I know... Being able to give mechs to friends means they wouldn't have to spend cbills/mc on them and of course if I were to give mechs to friends I would want the XP to go along with it and whatever quirks have been unlocked.

I know that could potentially take away some of the business and current profit from PGI. But that would still be an awesome feature to actually be able to help friends out in the game like that.

As for the events... I hope there's one this weekend. And what ever happened to the sales on mechs that were going on weekly?

Bad idea, you forget about exploits my friend, such as making your primary account supplemented by Cadet Cbills of a new account, an extra 20 million cbills, all within 2 hours as opposed to 6 hours and 5 million cbills.

As for the weekly mech sales they've ended I believe.

Ah yes, good point. I'm sure there's an answer to solving that cadet bonus issue but yes, that would definitely be a problem.

I didn't know the weekly mech sales were on a time frame. Thanks for that info. Too bad though... I was playing a lot more trying gain cbills to get mechs on sale.

They seem to time them with either mech releases or holidays. Since St. Pats is coming up, I assume they'd have something for drinking beer and shooting mechs ;-).
