Why there is not a global channel in MWO? I believe it an important part mwo missing.

Well that's the only way he communicates with players, and he doesn't listen to most of us vets anymore anyhow. So if you'd like to see it making an account there and pestering him is about the only possible option at this point.

I though there was a Global chat... I just had it turned off.
Will have to check now but I think there is one.

There should be a chat sections where you can hang out with units , factions or misc. With this you should be able to select people and invite them to games.

You can just ignore it, If you do not like it but I think it is a big absence for a multiplayer game.

That's only in a match, they're talking in regards to the game outside of a match.


It's called lobbies and we've been pestering them for them for 4 years now. PGI is clueless when it comes to the understanding the importance of social tools in a multiplayer game like this. Always have been.

Ok I just created a twitter account just to ask Russ why MWO does not have chat lol. I would not believe when someone would tell me that I will have a twitter/facebook account.

I had a twitter account for a couple of months until Russ blocked me. Now I don't have a twitter account, its a completely useless way to communicate with other humans.

A global channel would be a great way to collect all our newbies into one pile so they can ask the questions they so fervently need answers to. Also a place to post **** jokes, or discussions on why we need the Fire Falcon in game.

I agree it would be great for new players.

Ahhh... thanks. Yes, we have been asking for this for a Loooong Time.
Instead we get something we did Not ask for like getting switched to a different dead Mech in game weather we want to or not.
