Actually the game mode being described is quite familiar for War Thunder players, using tanks that is.

Also War Thunder has strong comeback mechanics, and that frequently happens in my experience.

I like to see these modes and mechanics on MWO as well.

MWO is much more suited to a respawn mechanic like you see in War Thunder as opposed to being played like World of Tanks in two legs.

If people call it WT in space it better be because of the same dev, because gameplay feels completely different. Though it has little customization by comparison, it plays much more like MWO than any of the big tank PVP games.

Unlike both the tank games and MWO it also has - I think - much better class differentiation.

Its more in reference to the aircraft side of War Thunder than the tank side. It definitely feels more like the plane side of it but lacks the simplicity.
