So this may well have been mentioned in previous posts but I'd like the chance (maybe 1-2%) that all mechs or just your lance gets mis dropped on any quick play map. It would certainly add a bit of a surprise to the start of a battle as opposed to the normal trudge forward.

I'm not sure how hard it would be to implement but it could lead to some really interesting tactics and match ups you may not normally get.

You could add in a little change to the drop sequence too "sensors online.....bleep bleep navagional error mis drop detected" and you have to pilot out of the wreckage of your drop pod and work out where on the map you have ended up.

Just a thought anyhow :)

The dropzones should be completely randomized.

I agree they should be random every drop.

Do you think this should be as a team then every time as a random start location then? I agree that would also be a good addition to each map but I was particular thinking of being dropped in as an individual mech.

An example of what I am thinking is in the first 10 seconds of gameplay you're in a Jenner on your own and 50m away is an enemy Atlas do you run for your life? ( I mean relocate to help your nearest stranded teammate) or do you try and get behind and get a kill?

Another bonus is it break ups the boring bit at the start of each game.

yeah, talking about teams because sooner or later everyone will be able to figure out where the others are dropping and take advantage of it.

I have actually seen light mechs do just that to a small degree, I remember dropping in my Stalker and a few minutes later I had a spider on my *** causing havoc for everyone.
