So the Pirahna is a mech with 12 machine guns, 2 ML and a SL and is a 20 tonner. It's been suggested as a April fools joke but I would pilot that nonsense to the inner sphere and back.

6 MG Spider? 3 second Jenner? Piranha will blow them out of the water.

The Piranha is pre-nerfed by virtue of being only 20 tons.
Plus, with the current PGI policy of zero quirks for Clan Battlemechs, this means the Piranha could very likely have zero quirks.
Does anybody remember what the Locust was like without quirks? That's about how fragile this little gundam will be.
It does not need any nerfs of any kind.

Wait... why'd he let you see him? That's just sloppy jennering... kids these days no pride in their jennering...

Let me tell you a story about MGs:
Yesterday, I fought a Hellbringer in close combat.
He had 2 MGs and fired constantly.
I overheated and shut down (No idea how a HBR can survive so much laser damage to the front torso, even all 3 components combined. When I pilot one, I'm dead after half the damage).
Instead of panicking, all I could think of was "You continue to fire your MGs, I'll power up again and kill you."
Seconds passed.
He kept firing.
I powered up again.
I killed him.
It tickeled, though.

With two MGs he might as well have turned around and powered down for you.
You basically need 4+ MGs (or +50% RoF hyper quirks) to have a visible impact, otherwise you might as well fire any other weapon. I refit my Locust-1V with 4MGs and an MPL and turned it into the angriest little ankle biter. I run around looking for people with stripped arms and torsos and politely remove them.

Pirahna has 9.6 dps with the 12 machine guns alone.

PGI at least awknowledges that certain Clan Omnimechs need quirks to be competitive. The Piranha could get some small quirks.

The timeline doesn't matter. The only issue is tech.

3051 is the production year. 3060 is when Clan Ice Hellion licensed the design.
9.6 DPS?! Pirahna OP! Tier 1 God confirmed.

It actually would be pretty ****** up.
If I were PGI I would nerf the firerate by 25% and buff range and velocity by 25-50% to compensate. That way people wouldn't be nailed so hard by a hail of gunfire, but the pirahna would still be good with MGs. Oh, and the game engine would have to track 120 projectiles per second per mech.
