I always liked the high, ST mounted lasers on thr Phract. I sold mine long ago to make room for other mechs. I've been considering getting them again but there are newer mechs to be had...

One of my favourite mech, the first that I bought and mastered. AC/20 and lasers on STD280 engine. You can hurt a lot...

Phracts aren't meta, but they're still good mechs. If you're dropping Quick Play a lot, they're good mechs to have your stable: they aren't seen that often, so people aren't used to their builds. Fun mech.

I run a 1X with an AC/20 and four medium lasers or with a LB10X to spread out the range a tad. It's got good punch up close as a brawler and has worked out pretty well for me as a support mech to complement a mixed weight lance.

I still have my CTF-1X, elite not mastered. I run 5LLs with a high XL engine (XL330?), endo steel and as much DHS I can put in.
group 1: the three LLs on the arms, group 2: 2 LLs on the torsos and group 3: all the weapons with chain fire.
Still a blast to play. I have a similar build on my CTF-3D since I don't know what to do with 2 ballistics hard points. Nah, I don't want to do gauss vomit.
