Agreed
I have a desire to paint my Misery Heavy Metal pink... Just because it would be hilarious.

I have no pressing need for it, but more variety is always good. PGI, make it so!

Anyone who repaints their Heavy Metal should be beaten with an oar

I guess my bright orange / cyan / yellow mech isn't?
We already have plenty of bright colours, because classic BattleTech is full of them.
There's really no reason that we can't have hot pink or, any kind of pink at all really. There's like one "light red" available and 5 different blacks

I understand crazy colors, I really do! I even have a Warhawk painted a resounding clash of bright orange, cyan, and red.
It's just...hot pink...it's probably the most obnoxious color in existence...even I have to draw the line at it.

My kids would paint every mech they own hot pink to annoy everyone they matched against.

@Palor
My sister in law kids did that to eighty five of my miniatures once(no they don't play BT and I wouldn't let them even if they wanted to) when I was forced by my wife to look after those brats, I went to a friend's wedding one weekend and came back to find my miniatures painted pink.
I told my wife to get rid of those kids right after I seen that, called her sister, she came back took her little brats and have been repainting them ever since.
so because of that I say no, I hate pink.
