Hey.. never used it so far, but am now considering it...

The question: if you block someone in the team overlay, does that block you from getting matched together in the future, or just block any voice and text communication originating from that person?

If it´s the former, then I may need to start using it to avoid getting matched with some of the "I hate this map /mode" DCers more than once...

And there is no block list. If you drop with them again, you have to block again

Yeah, this I knew about, I just figured that maybe PGI would have taken what many games consider a logical step and made an ingame block global and not just for that match. It´s no biggie either way, though, I have a long memory when it comes to betrayal and idiocy

I have to take a look again.
that would mean i can block the best 12 players i know from dropping with me on tournament for example... Already have a nice list...

People would just game that system so they blocked tough opponents and would only be left with easier opponents to play against.

No, it does not. If it were to be the case, it would irrevocably break the matchmaker.
