I work for a tech support company over the phones

Soooo many issues with windows 10 specifcally and it litteraly feels like microsoft is beta testing windows 10

I thought i would go ahead and upgrade like a goodboy to improve my pc performance (slighty)

turns out all my desktop files were permanently deleted Posted Image(No critical files but dam is that annoying to download everything again)

Apparently after upgrading the pc and seeing the windows 10 desktop for the first time it can possibly delete any files you place on the desktop if their missing in the first place from the windows.old folder

anyone else have win 10 gripe?

Haha, maybe on a forum for a game where you are constantly an unwilling beta tester for new features isn't the right place for complaining about that Posted Image

If history has taught us anything, it's never to do a windows upgrade on an already running OS. I recently bought a new laptop and made a clean install of Win 7 with upgrade to 10 on it and apart from a wi-fi driver that didn't update properly I didn't have any problems yet Posted Image

most of my dealings with Windows 10 involve rolling back PCs which people have updated only to find a vital driver is not available, usualy sound, network or graphics, I have dealt with about 50 of those, although I have not yet had any of those this year.

But but the live tiles maaaaaaaaaaaaaan how can you live?????

*edit* Nevermind "reads signature"

Being more serious, I dunno if I'm ever gonna want to make the jump period. Sure it's free, alright. But there's a good reason for that. Not too mention cloud computing, blah worst invention ever conceived.

My Roomate's PC started to shut down suddenly for no reason while Playing MWO, which didn't happen before they switched to 10, told 'em to go back to W7 and after they did the random Shutdown stopped.

Anyone have a clue why that was happening?
They really like W10, don't know why as it seemed more trouble than it was worth.

Probably drivers. I've been running 10 for quite some time at work and at home with no issues. The only real gripe I have with it is Microsoft trying to take every decision regarding how my computer works away from me. It can be maddening at times.
