I have been drooling a bit over the Masakari Collection the last few days, and I'm just wondering if the $240 price tag is worth it? I mean you DO get 24 clan mechs, 90 days of Premium Time and a lot of bells and whistles.

Any opinions?

Thanks.

the light mechs are pretty weak in that pack, but otherwise it has the best clan mechs, excluding hellbringer and arctic cheetah, but you can get them through c-bill grinding.

Bought it when it originally came out, and have not regretted it at all. Was actually my last large purchase, becasue I now have everything I could possibly want with just a few exceptions.

The lights are only "weak" if you incessantly try to play them like an IS light that runs 150+ instead of accepting that they are not designed to zip around the map leaping large buildings with the greatest of ease. Not every light mech is a spider, nor should it aspire to be... square peg, round hole ;)

good luck. I hope you enjoy it, XD.

I personally did not go past the DWF on that pack, but I still loved it.

Thanks. I had some great runs in the TBR-Prime yesterday! Can't wait to try out the other mechs as well.

Have you tried the, and I'm quoting someone else much more creative than I, Direwolf configured for infinite dakkaworks? (6 UAC 5 Direwolf. A.K.A. Dakkawolf).

I like the name Dakkawolf and will definitely try some custom builds eventually, but for now I'm happy just trying out the stock builds.
