I already have most patterns I care to get. Unless the new textures will only be done for new ones with the old ones getting updated Soon™... Which would be kind of hilarious, but not surprising.

Only thing I really want is to change camo for some old Hero mechs.
Want to put something besides shiny purple mudwash on my BJ-Arrow, or get rid of the bright red angel on my (L) Centurion and KingCrab.

i would have rather the texture updates be spread out over 2 or 3 patches to keep the transfer down.

Maybe they will correct the spelling errors on the resistance patterns (hello steiner zeus), if not i'm not surprised...

My biggest issue with camo textures, is in fact I cant run them in glorious resolutions. It would be cool though if the mech lab had higher quality, or a separate setting. Like alot of games, looking at your character is always a "thing"
(render mech lab object detail higher, and texture res higher settings, while keeping match play obj detail, and reso settings.)
During matches I don't mind this as I can have a smooth gaming experience, and rarely use 3rd person. In the mech lab, If I change my camo, I'm usually adjusting settings up so see what it will look like to everyone else lol.

It's good that we can download the 6GB patchfile in a few minutes via Steam servers. 6 GB on patchday with PGIs sh*tty *ss potato servers? That would be a pain.

I haven't seen slow downloads from PGI servers... like... ever.

I used to be against swapping camo on Hero mechs (only allowing color), because a camo helped keep it unique.
Now since new Hero mechs have swappable camo anyway, might as well allow the old camps to be swapped out too.
No more 2 color only Ilya Muromets camo or weird color assignment layers like on the Jester (seriously? Eyes and teeth aren't on the same layer? ).
Overall I'm hoping when the Catapult is redone, the Jester's camo will be redone as well (or at least optional).
