PGI, just a suggestion, when you do something like this, offer a choice of an IS or Clan mech. You're losing sales on stuff like this because IS players aren't going to care about a clan mech.

While I tend to agree, I´d assume that Phase 2 will come in very few weeks and will likely be IS specific... Still, having a choice of, say, Steiner or GB swag in one week, or say the choice between a Warhawk OR a Batlemaster may well prove more popular...

It's things like this that I think they just shoot themselves in the foot over. They potentially double their interested players in a deal like that (obviously it isn't a complete double we don't know players splits, but I think we have enough common sense to infer what I meant )

For a second I thought you'd get all the rewards if you bought right away like an early adopter. Then I actually read the page... not enough to make me go buy MC, especially since the things you can buy with MC are usually lousy value (other than the required mech bays).

For 29.95USD you get 6500 MC which is what 3-4 heavy mechs if on sale? or $20USD for three 100 ton Kodiaks plus a bunch of early adopter and bundle things like cbills, cockpit items, paint, modules, premium time etc. Maybe I'm missing something.

Why are you still giving them money? There's be next to no progress in almost a year, even adding CW is borderline since they put 90% of their effort into creating that planet map.

Off the top of my head they have implemented in the last 12 months ECM range changes, PSR, map/mode voting system, steam release, map redesign, and new maps. You can debate the good or bad of these changes and if they are in right direction, but to say "no progress in a year" is a bit much.

The deal isn't to bad, however I have a few questions....if I did the $100 package like tomorrow. Would I get all 4 Champions? Or just the TBR?

Also stupid if I bought the $100 package I don't get all the ones under it....if I got all under it I might jump on this no issue....Now hell I might not drop a dime even at 4 mechs that's not a great deal imo.

you only get the reward listed for that particular day

you're not buying a mech, you're buying MC, they're just giving you the extra stuff as a reward

Phase 1 refers to the first set of rewards; on March 15th they will begin Phase 2; March 20th Phase 3, etc.

most people are too tribal or simple to have such sophisticated tastes that actually incorporate TWO things.

I'm just pointing out that they would sell more if they did that. It's got nothing to do with clans or IS
