The Urbie is a thrill to play. Every drop in it is good fun! Sadly the only ballistic I dare mount on it are MGs,... supplemented by Medium pulses, Large pulses, etc.
Thing is, people underestimate the mech when facing it or overestimate it when driving it. I'll keep loving my trashcans!

Try using an AC/5 with 3 MPL or an UAC/5 with 2 MPL.
You have quite little ammunition, thus you should use your AC rounds only when you are quite sure to hit.
Most people tell me that this is too much spend tonnage with an AC and this little ammo, but these fittings have proven themselves (one time even achieving 1000+ Dmg ).
And you will have to put the biggest XL engine in there to allow you to disengage out of brawls if anyone is giving you too much attention.

Those vids are dumb, clearly going against ultra noobs they barely ever shoot back it's like they are still learning how to aim and fire.
The mech is still garbage and always will be.
Not to mention always showing a mech thats already cored it's not that hard to finish off a mech that way.

LOL video.
Urbanmech is fun, not great. Was a much better mech with its older quirks, but PGI felt it had to be nerfed, more lol.

The problem with adding an Urbie hero is that it implies not EVERY Urbie is a hero.
I don't play them (yet), but I like seeing them in-game. They are a reminder that the fun is still alive, and the meta is not all there is to it.

I agree with all of what you said, games are about fun, and you gotta keep finding the best ways to have that fun, and breaking the meta is one of the best ways to have fun.

Where I live the sewage treatment area is across they street from the city dump. Before they closed the dump some time ago you'd get these brutally hot days where the dump would just be baking than the plant would start would start doing whatever it id they do to sewage and you would get this horrid horrid stench of hot baking rotted garbage# mixing with human waste. That gentlemen is the urbanmech
