Seriously..

Does somebody flip a switch that makes everyone go into zombie mode at 8am *(Central US) or what?

Worst games I've ever had, every day, 24/7 at this exact time, over and over.

Nascar on full blast, no teamwork, just solo deathmatch derpfest.
What the hell.

Depends... 8AM in which of the 24 timezones here on Sol III?

It could theoretically (and practically) have something to do with US or European or Oceanic Primetime, or not.... however, the viability of that possibility depends entirely on who´s specific version of 8AM we happen to be talking about. Posted Image

8 AM Europe? The Australians mostly aren´t off work yet and the Americans are starting to go to bed, Europeans are going to work. W/o researching further, this is probably the overall low point of the day for MWO population numbers.

8 AM North America? Australians are off work and still playing a while, Europeans are still at work for a bit , Americans are going to work.

8 AM Oceania? Europeans are off work and playing for a bit, most Americans are still at work, Australians are going to work.

Or if you live on the asian continent, say in India, you´re of course sandwiched between the Europeans and Australians.

For the nitpickers: Work also = school, and of rourse these are not rigid times, as each of these areas encompases a 4-5 hour difference in timezones in and of itself. 8 am in NY is I think 3 or 4 am in LA...Posted Image

Yes, it often seems like that. If Mechwarrior hadn't such a specific demographic, I would have accounted it to EU afternoon kiddos joining the fray for a drop or 2 right after school. ;-)

Yeah, sounds about right, as 8 AM in Texas is 5 PM CEST.....

add an hour or 2 and the Adults will generally outnumber teh kids again for a few hours, until the US kids get off school while mom and dad are still at work, rinse and repeat for all timezones.... ;)
