I like to scout with an ecm light or locust to try to get behind the enemy to spot for friendly lrms.
One thing that bothers me is the mechanics for the tag.
If I get to a position behind the enemy, I feel cheated when some mech sees my tag and follows it back to my position. I think tags should not be visible to the enemy in order to reward lights who try to flank for spotting.
What are your thoughts?

Yes Tag should be invisible as the real life versions. Having a shiny red Tag laser makes the whole role warfare class of scouts useless. I hope this gets fixed asap.

I vote for Tag is visible in thermal view only.

You have a weapon that goes right through ECM and you want it to be invisible. Right. No, man. That's the only defense you have against it, being able to shoot the spotter, even then, if you're in range to use the thing, your sensors would long ago have picked up targets, If you're that close to enemies and you can't spot them, that probably means they're under ECM.

Ya I could accept you seeing it in thermal, seems like a good compromise
