Thanks to the wonderful Pot of Gold event, an influx of C-Bills to our accounts on Tuesday should provide most of us with the needed funds to purchase that much loved, most useful module called Radar Deprivation. Buy and equip yours on Tuesday to combat the supposed incoming Archer-induced LRM storm!
Oh, and UAVs are killer. Watch the skies!

Maps like polar probably wont be the best ones to drop on though.

I combine both Radar Derp and Seismic Wallhack on every mech I own.

Most of the time yes,
ON EVENT WEEKENDS OR NEW MECH DAYS
the rain falls hard and Derp plus AMS with overload module can make it real bad for the other team. Even though I am at T2 I still see folks that will hide at the back of the map instead of cover hopping towards the fat kids throwing snot balls from 2 squares away.
Seismic and Derp are better than many 6mill mechs

So, you admit that LRMs are fearsome enough to drive you away from.the game?
LRMs are OP, apparently.

Yeah... my Jenner IIC is getting me mad bank this week. Still, I don't tend to use radar derp on my lights. I like people knowing which direction I was going so I can lead them into my little trap.

PSA: It is just as easy to break locks on Polar as it is on any other map. Possibly easier, because the ranges tend to be longer and you therefore have more time to break contact and evade before the missiles arrive- drive into a trench and make a sharp turn; problem solved. The only time you need to soil yourself is when you get NARCed... then you're pretty much boned. Still, LRMs being almost mediocre if and only if you're spending too much time in the open on one map out of the entire lineup is hardly a reason to ragequit. Just imagine if the weapon system was actually viable on every map.

I'd argue radar dep is just as important against organized groups as seismic.
It's benefits extend far beyond just merely breaking LRM locks.

People that get driven away from the game due to LRMs aren't doing because the enemy is using them; they're doing because THEIR team is using them. So yes... LRMs ARE OP... to the enemy who gets a free win.
