Can someone explain me, why the hell can we (the Inner Sphere) get a full clan premade in CW, while our drop is only composed by randoms?

Absolutly amazing!
Just a great way to balance a game!

I hope you'll make us a tutorial just to learn us how to stand a chance against premades as randoms? Maybe Eject 4 times?

That is what you get when you choose to click the 'Defend' button rather than the 'attack' button. If you love having turrets on your side that much, then you are going to have to deal with more pre-made 12-man groups. If you are more ballz-y and don't mind facing turrets you will have to fight less pre-made teams.

At this point you kind of have to just roll with it. The matchmaker has a limited number of players to work with, and has to juggle fairness with getting a match together in a reasonable amount of time.

I wish CW had a more integral role in this game, but as it stands it's basically hard mode.

You'll join the clan and the cry about fighting IS 12 man premades is what will happen.

How do you fight them though? Communication and teamwork. If you, and your team refuse those two things + the tools made to accomplish both then you deserve to fail miserably.

Never said it was balanced. And it cuts both ways, IS premades also stomp Clan pugs in CW.

I'm pretty sure you've been warned. PGI even went through the trouble of installing a pop up window warning players that CW is a competitive GROUP PLAY game mode with no restrictions. The message even suggests that you shouldn't play it if you aren't experienced enough.

You'll get no sympathy here. I know very few experienced players that willingly drop into CW solo. Those that do are good enough pilots to know what they are getting into, don't expect to win solo, and do it just to farm cbills and xp.

By all means, continue to blame PGI. However, keep in mind this is a YOU problem. There is no balance in CW.

Better not to play CW at all. I don't and I couldn't be happier. Posted Image

I'd give you a day before I see you again complaining about facing 12-mans.

I am a rank 20 FRR loyalist on a mechbay tour.... the problems are:
  • not enough CW players.
  • steambie CW players not wanting to join one of the community TS hubs and form a group.
  • newbies not understanding the mechanics of the game and always clicking to defend planets and complaining about getting pre-mades.
So, let me educate you. ONLY 12 men of the SAME faction can attack a planet. That means if you are DEFENDING a planet you are going to face 12 people of the same faction attacking you. Chances are THAT group is going to be a pre-made. On DEFEND, any IS faction can defend ANY other IS faction's planet which means you are more likely to get a PUG defending.

get it?
don't defend, attack!

IS and Clan are very balanced. I primarily run IS, they hit quick, have great cooling. Clan hit harder, but take longer to apply damage and are ovens. The end result is even play... I do equally well in either, maybe slightly better in IS mechs.

I hope you do realize, that if you drop alone, you're very likely going to be in a PUG team no matter whether you're playing for the IS or Clans. The only way to make sure you're with a premade group is to join a premade group.

You may already know this but a lot of people don't so I'll say it just in case...
When you are on defense the enemy team will always be from one faction. That doesn't mean they are a 12man though. If they all have the same unit tags then yeah they probably are. But if they don't all have the same unit tags then its a decent chance they are not.
Just wanted to say that since I see a lot people say we are screwed when they see the enemy is all one faction even though there is barely any matching tags.

Based on his comment to the quote I posted, it's obvious he does not. it went way over his head.
