I would imagine the excitement of getting into the beta is slightly tempered by knowing that you'll actually have to do work by finding and reporting bugs, and that there are very few maps/game modes.

At least that's what I tell myself as I sullenly sip my beer and stare at yellow PENDING sign that follows me around to every topic I click, mocking me relentlessly with its garishness.

According to the statistic thread, there are approximately 15,000 people who have founder accounts. There are already about 10,000 people in Beta, many of whom (presumably) have founder accounts. If only half are founders, that only leaves about 10,000 more founders. This would be about 25,000 in beta after the 7th vs. the over 180,000 who have accounts for mwomercs.com.
