I posted this in new player help, to see if there was such a thing and the first comment said I should try here instead. So here it is:

Is there a setting to change the colors on the moving map display? I find it hard to break out the grid coordinates with just a quick look, so I would like to change the display for the grid designations to be a contrasting color for easy viewing/info at a glance.

Would you have to edit a file for this? I view that as cheating really, just like these 3rd party programs that are in use. That is another topic though.

I would like to make the game better, but still "pure" if that makes sense.

On a side note, I work in the Avionics Field on F-18's and the symbology on the digital map is an overlay that is pretty easy to read, but the pilot can turn down the brightness of the map if needed. If someone was looking into "real-world" type stuff for it.
