My favorite Clan mechs are omni-mechs, they are more competitive IMO.

What about them? They are slow, have no structure/agility quirks like there IS cousin, and have less than ideal hardpoint layouts.

4 LRM20 isn't exactly an overpowered loadout...

Depends on the target.... T4/5 bads, they are OP, anyone competent they are a mild irritation.

In 2 words: Buff Omnimechs.

So Madcat needs to be buffed because it's worse than Orion IIC?

So Ryoken needs to be buffed because it's worse than Hunchback IIC?

Is this what you are trying to tell us?

Interesting opinion. There are not many MWO players requiring both 'Mechs to be buffed.

Both the Madcat and the Ryoken are usually considered to be among the best 'Mechs in the game.

Jenny IIC packs a huge punch, but has crappy survivability.

The ACH, an Omnimech, is overall more desired for versatility and not instantaneously exploding upon getting shot at (at least, not always).

As far as I can say, the Jenner IIC packs good firepower, but it's a bit fragile. The Hankyu combines good armament with quite good durability.

So Jenner IIC is better, cause all light is need is firepower. See, "origins" mechs is better in 2 main categories - light and assault.

Its not trolling (maybe a little).
Question is: according to lore, "origins" mechs should or should not be superior to omni?

IICs do needs alittle abit of love,
(Please Note the Little Part),

and OmniMechs do need Love,
But love that wont make the Strong Stronger,
such as allowing OmniMechs to Removed Non Engine DHS,
MLX= 3(No Extra Tons, you still need them but you can put DHS Anywhere you want)
ACH= 1(No Extra Tons, See Above)
KFX= 3(No Extra Tons, See Above)
ADR= 2(No Extra Tons, See Above)
NVA= +4Tons -4DHS
WHK= +7Tons -7DHS
EXE= +1Tons -1DHS
DWF= +3Tons -3DHS
This Could work as TBR/SCR dont Change,
